Rockin’ on the River is a community event which takes place on a weekly basis showcasing different cover bands in the rock genre. Many come to this place to listen to the music and to have fun with loved ones. With such a great attendance, it is a great place to share the gospel and that is just what Beth Morris (leader of this outreach) thought over five years ago when she began going to this event.
This outreach consists of everything from tract distribution to one-to-one conversations to open air preaching and more. Evangelists from all over Ohio come and share the gospel at this outreach, now including the members of ME4JC. This event takes place from early spring until the end of summer making it a great place to evangelize week after week.

Picture of Ryan I got off Beth Morris' Facebook page. The millions in the picture are a favorite tract of Ryan and I. |
I first attended at a special outreach known as “The 30” which is when there are 30 evangelists present at this event to share the gospel. I am shy when it comes to starting conversations with strangers so having my brothers and sisters in Christ there with me was a great help. I handed out tracts and even got into a one-to-one with a man there. It was absolutely amazing. There were so many clear gospel presentations that night.
My husband and I attended a few more times before it was all over and we were sad to have it come to an end. This is a biblical ministry and the people who go out there are zealous for Jesus and passionate about reaching lost souls. We have met some amazing people going to this event who only desire to glorify God in what they do. We look forward to attending early next year and even getting our daughter involved in handing out tracts too.
If the LORD tarries, we hope to see all 3 of you next summer - every Friday possible! Soli Deo gloria!
