Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I pray that this post finds you in good health and warm weather. There is a ton of stuff going on with Missional Evangelists for Jesus Christ (ME4JC) this month.
With the summer season fast approaching, we’ve decided to cut back some on our blog posts. Our outreach efforts will be greatly increasing due to the nicer weather. We’re also preparing for the arrival of Sarah Evangeline, our little bundle of joy. We encourage you to check out On the Box to supplement your blog cravings.
ME4JC will be setting up a prayer station at Edgewater Park on May 29, 2011 from 4 – 6:00 pm. This is a great outreach to get your feet wet with one-to-one conversations. It can also be useful when trying to get follow-up information from someone, because they want you to find out if the prayer was answered. What is a “prayer station” you ask? In its simplest form, it’s nothing more than a folding table with a banner. The people “staffing” the station will pass out Gospel Tracts and ask for prayer requests. After that, we ask them if they would take a survey… which springs into the Gospel. The Cleveland Prayer Station now has a blog page and if you want a prayer station of your own, we encourage you to visit the Go Forth All Ministry.
Are you interested in sharing your faith, but need an outreach event? Check out Working the Harvest Field and NEO Harvest Team, two blogs that list many of the outreach events and biblical evangelist ministries in the Northeast Ohio area. The various groups have many different events going on throughout the year, including an amazing Evangelism Boot Camp. Every ministry listed loves to have newcomers to help with spreading those Gospel seeds.
In closing, please remember to pray regularly for the lost and those that will hear or read the Gospel this year. Each ministry also needs your prayers for strength to continue “fighting the good fight.” Until next time, may God bless you in abundance!
