This is part 2 of 3 in the series called, “The War Has Begun.” If you have not already done so, please read the previous post (Part 1) before continuing.
Later that night, as I was crawling into bed, I suddenly began feeling very sore and sickly. When I woke up the next morning, I felt horrible but went to work anyway. By the time I got home (around 3:30 pm), I felt so horrible that I went right to bed, cancelled our plans, and only woke up to eat and call off work. It was Tuesday afternoon before I was able to stay awake for more than a few minutes. I thought the worst was over and went to work on Wednesday.
The cold regained strength, and doubled it, knocking me out of commission for another day. I should have gone to the hospital Wednesday night, because I was shaking uncontrollably and hallucinating. The worst was sensing an evil presence pacing in front of my bed that night. I could not physically see anything, but the feeling was undeniable. This demon was angry and did not want to leave me alone. I used most of my strength to send out a request for prayer on facebook via my phone. Then I passed back out for the night, my strength drained.
On Thursday morning, I woke up feeling a million times better than the night before. I was still under the weather but thankfully many Saints were praying for me that night. My mind was clear now and one moment was in focus--the demonic being from the night before. God made it abundantly clear what had transpired. My 4-day battle of sickness was a spiritual attack... well, a counter-attack, actually. Satan has been fooling billions of people for many years with something so simple that he will fight hard when someone figures it out and fights against his plan. What is this plan? Create a “Christian church” that is so close to the real church that it can even fool many believers into thinking that it’s the real deal.
"Write this letter to the angel of the church in Laodicea. This is the message from the one who is the Amen—the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s new creation: “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked."
(Revelation 3:14-17)

Why does the "Christian church" of today sound so much like the Church in Laodicea? Satan has infiltrated our churches. We have been duped into thinking that if someone is in a church building, they are a Christian. We do not heed the warning of 1 John 4:1, “Do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God…” Perhaps you are thinking, “What’s wrong with being close to the real thing?”
Imagine drawing a right angle: You have a protractor tool so that you can measure 90 degrees perfectly. When you begin drawing though, your focus is so intently on the pencil that you don't realize the protractor tilted slightly. When you finish drawing the angle, you realize the mistake you made... the angle is now 91 degrees. This might not seem like such a problem at first glance, but as the lines are drawn longer, the slight imperfection becomes a big problem. Our problem lies in how much we allow Satan to “tilt” the perfect truth of God’s Word.
Saints! We have been quiet for far too long! It is time to line ourselves up with absolute moral perfection, the Word of God, and begin to fight back against this False Christianity. What do we do? How can we know who is a real Christian and who's pretending? Is there a possibility that you, the reader, are a fake Christian? The Bible has the answer! "Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves" (2 Corinthians 13:5a). Look at yourself by comparing your life with the fruit that every true Christian should bear according to Galatians 5:22-23. Be honest with yourself, because God knows your heart and cannot be fooled. If you fall short on that list, I encourage you to run to http://www.needgod.com/ or http://www.goodpersontest.com/ and pay close and sincere attention to what they have to say. Are you in the faith?
