Transition Challenge

This past month we headed up the “Second Annual ME4JCTransition Challenge” on Facebook. It’s a fun and interesting “excuse” to share the Gospel with friends and family members online. While the challenge is over for this year, that doesn't mean we should stop proclaiming the Gospel online.

Challenge yourself to continue sharing your faith online all year round! Even if it’s not every day, God will be pleased with your faithfulness to herald the truth in the digital world. Below is the information from our Facebook event page:

Many Christians will jump at the chance to use the news story of a celebrity dying to transition into a Gospel message on the internet. Why should we stop there? Missional Evangelists for Jesus Christ (ME4JC) wants to challenge all Christians to transition a different news story into a Gospel proclamation every day for the month of March.

The Purpose
1. Test our abilities in finding a way to segue to the Gospel with any topic.
2. An excuse to share the Gospel online every day for a whole month!

The Rules
1. You must choose a DIFFERENT story for each day.
2. The stories must be CURRENT. Nothing older than a week.
3. The Gospel transition needs to FIT the story.
4. No copying other Evangelists. You can use the same story, but the Gospel transition MUST be different.
5. The Gospel MUST be included. We want to see more than just the transition.
6. You should use Biblical Evangelism (see www.livingwaters.com) methods.

The Prize
Hearing the words “Well done, good and faithful servant” when you stand before Almighty God.

Just because we are commanded to share the Gospel doesn't mean we can't have fun while doing it! So have fun, preach the Good News, and invite a friend to join you in the challenge. (Feel free to tag the ME4JC Facebook page on each day’s post to share your transition with others in the challenge.)

Throughout the month of April, we’re going to post various transitions from this year’s challenge. It really takes an imaginative mind to come up with transitions for some of the stories and we really liked what people presented. Maybe next year, we’ll post one of your transitions on our site. May God bless you in abundance as you seek to glorify God through evangelism!
