The Scoop - April 2012

ME4JC IS CLOSED…

…April Fools!

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! It’s been a long time since our last blog post and we apologize for that. Our lives have been very hectic lately due to a number of issues. Our daughter, Sarah Evangeline, is growing up and with that comes more time devoted to her. Gone are the days of her sleeping most of the day or being content with just playing in her playpen. Also, we’re expecting another bundle of joy in September and the new baby has been taking a major toll on Elaine. Finally, work (the job that funds the ministry) has been super crazy for the past four months and I’ve not had much time or energy to devote to our blog. With that said…

THE BIGGEST PROJECT: OHIO
We had the opportunity to help with “The Biggest Project” giveaway. There are three phases to this outreach where we’ll be going to various schools to distribute “The Biggest Question” DVD to students. The first phase took place at Chardon High School where there was a recent school shooting. There were roughly 600 DVD’s given away and our group was even blessed by the owner of a local Wendy’s who gave everyone gift cards for a free lunch.

The next phase takes place on April 3rd at Baldwin Wallace College, where "Project: Heartchanger" took place not too long ago. The third, and final, phase of this outreach will be at Cleveland State University. Please pray for everyone that watches this DVD and for the Northeast Ohio Harvest Team.

NEW OUTREACH
ME4JC is in the planning stages of putting together another weekly outreach that will take place during a weekday that has not been decided yet. There isn’t much we can say about this yet (it’s that new) but there are many different ideas floating around. Please pray for God to guide us in the direction that we should go.

DOWNTOWN OUTREACH UPDATE
In our last issue of “The Scoop,” we told you about a weekly outreach that was underway at Public Square. Well, the outreach is still going strong! We have dealt with much spiritual warfare at this location, but thanks to God, we have been victorious over everything that the enemy has thrown our way. Various cult members, bad weather, and demon possessed people are just a few of the tricks that the devil has used while we proclaim the Gospel in Downtown Cleveland. Please pray for this city, especially since the new casino will be opening soon… right across the street from our fishing hole!

Thank you so much for being patient with us during our blogging absence. Lord willing, we plan to get back to a regular schedule, with new blogs showing up every Sunday night. Thank you for your prayers, they are coveted. If you need prayer for anything, please do not hesitate to contact us with your request. Until next time, may God bless you in abundance!
