We have a praise report concerning a ministry that we have talked about in previous posts. We Care Connection had previously stopped the open-air preaching on their homeless outreach. We were very disappointed when this took place, but were committed to continue going out with them to share the Gospel through Gospel Tracts, 1-2-1 Witnessing, and our Justice Survey. Last month, we were given the opportunity to read aloud from the Bible. It may not be preaching, but it is a positive change and we praise God for allowing it to happen. Last Sunday, we read John 3 and afterwards gave away around 20 Bibles at the Ladies Shelter. Praise be to God for this miracle.
JoAnna Hess (Jo), the sister of Elaine, has accepted a voluntary position with Missional Evangelists for Jesus Christ as Treasurer. She will also be going out to share the Gospel with us during events. Jo has grown by leaps and bounds in her spiritual walk with Christ over the past year and we look forward to serving the Lord with her.
A picture that we took recently has been making its way around the Biblical Evangelist circles. You can read more about it at Trish Ramos' blog. We are so happy to hear that Family Christian Stores has issued a decree to rectify the problem. God does not like His Word to be twisted but when His children speak up, the impossible can happens. Praise the Lord!
January in Cleveland means that Winter Jam is upon us. This Christian rock concert happens every year and is a price that most can afford ($10.00 for 10 bands). ME4JC will be in attendance, but not just for the music. We are planning to distribute some Gospel Tracts that are geared towards the False Convert before the show. Our hope and prayer is to also give the artists some reading material for the road. The "God Has A Wonderful Plan For Your Life" book is a great way to share the Biblical Gospel with the lost AND a way to show Christians how to share the Gospel... in the Biblical way that Jesus did. Please pray for this event, the people that will receive Gospel tracts, and for the opportunity to give these books to the artists.
