Death Knocks on The Doors

Ray Manzarek, the keyboardist from "The Doors," died on May 20th, 2013. He was seventy-four and it is believed that he finally lost the battle against cancer. He was considered one of the greatest keyboard artists of all time and guided many others in their musical careers. Sadly, money and fame can do many things, but it cannot save you from standing before God on Judgment Day. When you die, will you be good enough to enter Heaven?

Have you ever illegally downloaded music (like "The Doors") from the internet? That's called stealing and it makes you a thief. "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, emphasis added). If you don't go to Heaven, the Bible says you'll spend eternity in Hell.

Thankfully, God made a way for you to be set free from that terrible punishment. He sent Jesus Christ to pay your fine and take the punishment for you. Jesus died on a cross and came back to life three days later, defeating death and Hell. If you turn away from your sin (repent) and entrust your life to Jesus, God will save you from Hell and grant you the gift of eternal life.
