The Scoop (July 2012)

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! It’s been a while since our last “Scoop” article so we have plenty of news to cram into this edition! We hope that you have all been doing well and that you have been faithful to glorify God by sharing your faith and training others up in the faith. Without further ado…

If you didn’t already know, Elaine and I are expecting our third child (one in Heaven from miscarriage) in September. We are having another little princess and her name is Lydia Faith. We are so excited to officially meet her and train her up in the ways of the Lord. Please pray for her and for Elaine as we draw closer to the due date.

Last month, Elaine and I were accepted for the position of Ohio State Representatives with Living Waters Publications. This ministry will be totally separate from Missional Evangelists for Jesus Christ (as best we can do that) and will focus on reaching out to churches and other people in Ohio that want to know more about Living Waters and Biblical Evangelism. We will also be in charge of spearheading any major (National and Global) outreaches for the state of Ohio. This position is voluntary and we do not charge for any service (just like ME4JC) so if you know of any churches or other groups (Youth Groups, Conferences, Etc.) that would like to have us come for a visit, please let us know.

On August 17-18, our church will be holding the 4^th Annual Evangelism Boot Camp! This is one of our biggest events of the year and we’ve decided to make it a FREE event this year! If you’ve never shared your faith or are looking to learn more about evangelism, this is the event for you! Learn from the professionals on how to witness to family, friends, and even perfect strangers… the same way that Jesus did! Register now for this fast-paced two-day training seminar. A good friend of ours, Ben Adams from DIG Outreach, has informed us that there is a new opportunity for evangelism in Northeast Ohio! Grace CMA Church in Middleburg Heights, Ohio has a Classic Car Show every Thursday evening beginning at 5:30pm and the Outreach Pastor, Gregg Carrick, has graciously opened the doors for Biblical Evangelists to come and share their faith during the event. If you are interested in joining this outreach, please contact Ben Adams.

The Rockin’ on the River outreach is in full swing! This event takes place in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio at Front Street Mall every Friday night beginning at 6:00pm during the summer. We have the opportunity to reach thousands of people as they come to this free event to hear various bands. Contact Beth Morris if you are interested in being a part of this outreach.

Lastly, don’t forget that we head up an evangelism team at Public Square in Cleveland, Ohio every Saturday afternoon, starting at 3:00pm. We meet directly across from the Horseshoe Casino and would love to have you join us. Contact me (Ryan Muniak) if you want to come out! We have a desperate need for Bibles! People take Bibles like money at the Square so if you have any extras lying around; please consider donating them to the ministry.
