Heartbroken Heartchanger

The Baldwin Wallace Team
This past Tuesday was the annual global outreach of Living Waters Publications. It was called Project Heartchanger and the main focus was to give away 200,000 copies of the new documentary “180 Movie.” We’ve written about the movie before and if you still haven’t seen the film that has over 1.2 million views on YouTube in less than a month, I encourage you to do so immediately!

Missional Evangelists for Jesus Christ had been planning on joining the efforts of 1,000 teams to share this wonderful opportunity, hoping to change the hearts of many campus students. Unfortunately, our plans had to change at the last minute. My relief (oncoming officer) was over an hour late which caused us to run later than expected. We arrived at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio at 10 AM. Just as we pulled into a parking spot, my phone rang… the Caller ID confirmed my fears, work was calling. After being on the phone for 30 minutes, events taking place at my job caused me to leave the outreach before setting foot outside the car.

While it was extremely heart-breaking having to tell the team that I couldn’t participate, I knew that this was not the end for the outreach. It was just the end of it for ME4JC. The devil was not happy that day and he was pulling out every trick he knew to prevent the outreach from happening. Elaine and I may have been prevented from being at the outreach, but we still fought the good fight of faith through prayer.

The outreach was still a great success and many hearts have been changed after receiving the 180 movie. Remember, even if you aren’t on the front lines, you can still pose a major threat to the forces of evil through the power of prayer. May God bless you in abundance!

P.S. – Here’s more info about the local outreach and the global outreach.
